Conclusions:
1. Histamine and serotonin which
stimulate phagocytosis in Tetrahymena differently
act on the lysosomal
phosphatase activity,
2. The lysosomal enzyme inhibitor chloroquine is neutral alone, however
depress the activity of histamine.
