Conclusions:

 

  1. The binding of triiodothyronine as well, as histamine seems to be specific, since pretreatment or post-treatment with unlabelled hormones can restrict the binding significantly.
  2. The difference in the values of pre- and posttreatment could be caused by the intake of the hormone which can not  ousted from the cell (see also Kovács, P., Csaba, G., Acta Biol. Med. Germ. 39, 237-241, 1980).
