INvestigated problems
In the last decade our investigations were focused onto problems described in 'Backgrounds'.
Two problems were investigated:
The first was to characterize the physicochemical characteristics of the
hypothetical optimal chemotactic ligand
The second purpose was to gain more information about the
receptor-ligand interactions
in chemotaxis and to describe the
dynamics of the diverse sets of receptors.
This work was completed by some basic experiments on the
intracellular signaling
mechanisms and their role in the tuning process of chemotactic responses.
